Their sentence demonstrates why criminals laugh in the face of our judicial system.

Now they lost their little perk, maybe they can eat properly and lose a few pounds.

I don’t know about dine and dash, more like dine and roll going by the size of the fat pigs.
I agree with Keith, far too lenient sentence.

Agreed, a lenient sentence given their criminal history, but then again I've seen a lot worse crimes given non custodial sentences.
The whole judicial system needs to be overhauled in my opinion.

We need to stop importing immigrants who once here use their survival skill to make a living…it’s a sad fact of life that due to their circumstances many resort to criminal activities to get by.Slapstick wrote: 30 May 2024, 08:15Agreed, a lenient sentence given their criminal history, but then again I've seen a lot worse crimes given non custodial sentences.

A vast increase in policing would be my priority in sorting out our judicial system and home grown crime.

I would agree more policing is definitely needed but it's the courts who pass sentence, all the police can do is get them there.Onelife wrote: 30 May 2024, 09:32We need to stop importing immigrants who once here use their survival skill to make a living…it’s a sad fact of life that due to their circumstances many resort to criminal activities to get by.Slapstick wrote: 30 May 2024, 08:15Agreed, a lenient sentence given their criminal history, but then again I've seen a lot worse crimes given non custodial sentences.

As for immigration, that's a whole new thread
