Major Panic Averted

Unread post by david63 »

I don't know if anyone has seen on the news that the Royal New Zealand Navy ship Manawanui sank last night off the coast of Samoa. This is the ship that our granddaughter was on until a few weeks ago and she was hoping to still be on to do this trip. Some of the crew are ones she trained with and one is in the same house share that she is in. Fortunately everyone is safe.

Looks like a steering problem or a misallocation as to the depth of water they were surveying for the ship to have run aground?

I bet there were a few frantic phone calls from Mom And Dad.

It’s a better option than sending them out with syphoning tubes.

Depends how much scrap they’ll let me have. Foxy said he’d go down and get, bless him.
