Spring is starting to show
You can just see a green hue in the hedgerows as the buds fatten up ready to open, and I've just seen a lovely yellow brimstone butterfly.
It's been a good week feeling the warmth of the sun, after a cold winter.

Don't worry, be happy

The sun for a few days in succession makes such a difference. Love to see the daffodils starting to come out. Let's hope these sunny days continue for a while yet.

Re: Spring is starting to show
It puts a spring in the step after weeks of wind, rain and cold. Looking around the garden and whilst the snowdrops are going past their best daffodils are well through and ready to bloom, dwarf irises and cocuses have taken their place. Buds are now showing on shrubs and trees and lambs are now out in the fields.
Having received our (eye-watering) gas and electric bill this week hopefully the central heating can go off and we can start hanging the washing on the clothes line and enjoying a little bit of sunshine.
