I did John and I was impressed. It turned out a good match in the second half and there wasn't a great deal of difference between the two teams.
Not impressed by our penalties. Looked like a certain degree of arrogance. For players with Premier experience it wasn't good enough and ultimately you deserved the win. Good luck in the next round.

Wow.....once again Harry Kane comes out on top....3 goals in 13 minutes !
The Leipzig back four couldn't stop him or even ex Crystal Palace player Olise from scoring

My team have got off to their customary good start, but we’ve also done this in the previous two seasons and then faded away when the pitches got heavy.
Ainsworth might hopefully be the difference.
He’s very enthusiastic if nothing else.
Heart well and truly on his sleeve.

England beat a very weak Latvia 5-0....Once again Harry Kane didn't let us down
Two goals....also got a new record, scoring more than one goal for England in a game for the 13th time beating the 12 held by Nat Lofthouse.
What could be better than that ? Maybe it was the incredible Ronaldo scoring another 2 goals for Portugal...is he ever going to stop ?

After the bore-ball we have seen in the past Tuchel has injected a much more fluid approach which is much more enjoyable.
I loved the humour from the England supporters which Tuchel acknowledged "Is this loud enough for you?" and "We'll sing when we want ".

Albania 0 England 2.....8/8 Yes the opposition is not the greatest but tonight it was The Harry Kane Show
Another 2 goals from Harry which makes it 78 international goals from 112 matches
For those who say he only gets goals against easy team ...now where's that emoji showing 2 fingers (for victory)
Kane is 13 appearances away from equalling Peter Shilton's all-time record of 125 games for England.

Well....no posts on a Football topic for 3 months, so I''ll annoy anyone who actually reads this with my ongoing cheers for Harry Kane
First though have to say well done to Arsenal for actually reaching the FA cup 5th round for the first time in 6 years
Now about that brilliant Harry Kane....2 more goals scored on Saturday and he has now reached 500 goals
Kane reached 500 goals in 743 appearances for club and country.... Ronaldo in 2015 hit his 500th goal on his 753rd game
Only Lionel Messi has been quicker. The Argentina star scored his 500th goal in April 2016 on what was his 632nd appearance.
Harry Kane now has 41 goals for the Munich side this season, including 26 in the league.....
Could he get the Golden Boot won by Kylian Mbappé last season ?

Re: Football 2025/26
He was crap when he came to Leicester. Coming to the conclusion it must be us because this season is a total shambles and a disaster.
We have the highest paid players in the Championship on long term contracts and they look totally disinterested, unfit and content to see out their contracts without putting too much effort in. We have been totally mismanaged to the extent we have been deducted 6 points due to PSR infringements. I can't wait until the end of the season when we can get rid of most of this dross, bring in some new players who are looking to impress and start again whether that's in League 1 or the Championship.Getting rid of these lardar**s cannot come soon enough.

It'll need more than Kalms!!! Maybe football hibernation until the summer could be the answer. Have followed them for nigh on 70 years in which time they have been simply awful but not as bad as this lot. Be glad to see the back of them. My wife says 'Take no notice. He's got it on him!!' She doesn't understand

I was taking a look at your team and found you might just have a ray of sunshine....that young player 21 yrs on loan from Rennesoldbluefox wrote: 16 Feb 2026, 11:31

Jordon James.....9 goals from 24 appearances 3 assists, plays for Wales....seems a promising player considering he plays midfield not a striker.
He's also your top scorer this season so far.

You’re right. He’s injured at the moment but on loan with an option to buy for £5million. He’s a bargain and stands out but I doubt he will want to stay with us after the summer. Hopefully we can persuade him and rebuild with young fresh players on the up.

How useless were England....No harry Kane & they can't get it together.
About as useful as a one legged man in a bum kicking contest
And we think we can win the world cup

I think there is far too many squad changes which leads to less continuity…if the manager doesn't know his best 15 players 6 months prior to any England match he’s in the wrong job as far as I am concerned.

Condolences Foxy on Leicesters relegation to league one, but look on the bright side, you will be able to visit the Accu stadium next season.

Re: Football 2025/26
Thanks towny. I'm actually looking forward to us playing these teams next season.
Tbh I'm glad it's all over. Tbh I'm glad it's all decided now since even without the 6 point deduction we have looked likely candidates to go down. This team, which has cost millions to assemble, and consists of overpaid mercenaries who have strolled around all season were only to go one way. I can't wait to see the back of them and we start all over again with young lads who will give their all and as they say play for the shirt.
I rather enjoyed the last time we were in Lge1 and away from all the commercialisation of the upper reaches, seeing young players coming through the ranks and proper fans loyal to clubs which may never reach the heights of the Prem or even Championship but just enjoy their football.
Btw can I ask you........do they have proper goalposts or just jumpers?

About time they got rid of Jon Rudkin but for some reason " Top " loves hearing what he thinks
Not that I really care as I don't support Leicester City but Foxy does and I just hope he gets a better team soon.

You’re right about Rudkin. It is he who has overseen five years of decline bringing in players at great expense on ridiculous wages. We now have a team which is clearly unfit and unmotivated. Nobody can understand why Top has not fired him long ago.
