Some good news for once (https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cevz13xkxpro) - especially for those with the disease but, unfortunately, it will not be widely available for a long time due to the cost. One interesting point is that they are looking at testing it on young people who have the defective gene but not yet presenting with the disease in the hope that it can be stopped.
All well and good until Trump makes some nonsensical comment banning it!
