Cup a Soup
Some love them, some hate them, I lie somewhere in-between, however I’ve Just tried the Broccoli and Stilton and love them.

My mum, who lived to 101, had chicken and leek cup-a-soup nearly every night, clearly a recipe for a long life.

Got to confess that I’ve never had one.
But to be fair, I’d never been in a Greggs until about two years ago.

They’re not like your thick tinned soup…think more along the lines of a watered-down version… the one I have recommended might be a good place to start.barney wrote: 24 Dec 2025, 12:35Got to confess that I’ve never had one.

Not for me. Like something with more substance. Especially home made.

I’m at my son’s for Christmas - I’ve crossed the border into England! Daughter-in-law made leek and potato soup today - delicious
. I’ve tried cup a soup but it couldn’t compete with her soup - no way!

Re: Cup a Soup
Hi Jan, our daughter is home for Christmas and tonight she made us curried vegetable soup with sour dough bread to mop it up…lovely, much better than Cup a Soups any day of the week. We use cup a soup as a quick lunch time alternative for a man on the go and not a substitute for the real thing.Jan Rosser wrote: 24 Dec 2025, 22:16I’m at my son’s for Christmas - I’ve crossed the border into England! Have a lovey Christmas with your family Jan.
