Hi Jenni,

Sounds like a great plan. If it is your birthday - have a wonderful time and a safe trip.

Happy birthday Mr DQ>

Hope you all enjoy the good weather. We have just left Cockermouth and it's tipping it down. Hopefully it will clear up tomorrow as I am leading a walk - not keen on walking in the rain.

Oops my silly phone again.
There are a number of people who will be away so have a super time, and for those staying at home forget all the normal chores and make the most of the nice weather.
For those of you have to go work all you can do is make the most of your spare time. Just Enjoy.

Hi Jenni - have a great time. We too are in Dorset but in the North where Dorset, Somerset and Wiltshire all meet. We have a cottage here and my husband is busy building a summer house - yes probably means we won't have a summer! I'm trying to cook the sausage, pasta, tomato thing I saw an old lady cooking on the Italy trip the Masterchef finalists were sent on - if anyone saw it. Doesn't look bad so far but can't find the actual ingredients on the internet so am guessing amounts. Smells all right anyway so hopefully will be fine. Sunny still but we came through heavy rain this morning. Hope the Bbq goes well.

Thank you Foxy and Em I will pass your good wishes on to Mr DQ, we will be celebrating tomorrow as I just assumed it was football today so didn't organise anything :o I have just cooked him a lovely meal though and we are enjoying a very nice bottle or two of Red with some rather nice cheeses

Hi Jo

I wish K a very happy birthday.

As for the weekend, been shopping today and we are in the middle of decorating the conservatory. Well Lorraine is. :D

Just remembered she has told me she wants me to Karcher the conservatory windows tomorrow. :o

MOB - yes Milton on Stour is just down the road from our place - we're a couple of miles north. This morning beautiful sun and we saw a huge balloon with quite a few people on board land in a field just south of us - good job the pilot got the field and not the A303! - at least I assume it landed in a field!

Wooee

My usual Monday alarm call had me out of my cot at 06.45 to go through my usual rituals to bus into town for a busy day at the Tivoli Theatre

Then a sweet voice whispered "it's A Bank Holiday" come back to bed :o :o :o :o

Mind your own business - not telling you all what happen - but we both had a bleedy gert smile on our faces at a very late Brunch

Luboo all
