London 1927

A fascinating little vignette of London as she was in 1927

see video here

Not being from London I have no idea just how much it will have changed in the last 85 years

Morning Ken

I’m not from London either but take away the trams, vintage cars, and dress codes then everything else looks pretty much as it does now, give or take a few tower blocks and a Ferris wheel.

Interesting though :)

Very interesting....

That London Bridge in the video would be the old one...The one we sold to the Yanks in the mid 60's...apart from that the landscape ain't changed much....Building are a bit higher mind.....There are about a million times more cars on the road and loads and loads more red busese..not trams....

The people are different as well....many more of them and, let's say, from all corners of the world and every continent, not just white British.

And you will notice that there ain't no pavements made of gold...You lot north of Watford (spit) have already nicked that...That went about 25 years earlier. :D
