We were at the Surrey Sports Park in Guildford, so may stories and reasons for being there.... in the wake of the terrible atrocity in Woolwich this week it was truly wonderful and inspiring to see all nationalties joined together with one common goal - to beat cancer.... Proud to be British today

Race for Life
Just returned from watching my daughter do Race for Life in memory of her two Nans. So proud of her as only a couple of months ago she had knee surgery so could not run but walked the 5k in 51 minutes.

Re: Race for Life
My friend who I met on Fred O cruise did the Race for Life as well on 30th January. She is 77 and did it in under an hour. I was one of her sponsors. Very good cause.

Yes we did go and offer our support, as you say a truly inspiring day, there were hundreds taking part, some running, some jogging and some walking the course, as well as those just offering support.
Our daughter managed to complete the 5K course in 38 minutes.
All for a very worthwhile cause.
