Overtime!!

Unread post by howard18 »

What is it with you guys?
Having some spare time on my hands I ran down the list of topics. I cannot believe that people are posting at 05.00. in the morning. Don't you ever sleep!!
I might stir at about 08.00 if the weather is good, however......... :) :) :)

Maybe they're having breakfast before starting an early shift? Or perhaps coming off nights and unwinding before going to bed?

Come on, you guys, spill the beans!

I'm usually up at 5.00am most days, I just happen to be one of these people that only need 5/6 hours sleep, it's actually my favourite time of the day my "me time" I catch up on the forums and do my e-mailing :D

I don't sleep well and am up at all hours of the day and night.

5am is the middle of the night as far as I'm concerned.

On the days I'm not working I try to get up at around 8am, but my ideal is to get up around noon, and go to bed at around 2am. The last time I achieved this was in my teens. Since then, there's been boring things like work and housework to attend to.

Getting up early in the morning is something reserved for days on which we travel down to Southampton (or the airport if necessary).

I used to get up at 0615, so I could catch the bus, but now I've got the moped I can have another 45 minutes in bed and then take my time getting ready to go out. Even so, I am most definitely not a "morning person".

When I had to get up to start work at 7am, I longed to stay in bed. Now I could stay in bed as long as I like, I can't sleep! And once I'm awake, I'm up!

Even an unbroken night's sleep would be wonderful.

5am is neither a late night nor an early morning for me ... you won't catch me posting then, so don't wake me up :shh:

I am often up at 5am and studying, surfing the web or doing paperwork ... a lovel quiet couple of hours to sort things out before heading to work (not all of us have been resigned to the scrap heap of life yet).

We have our own business so are up well before the sun rises. Coffee, walk the pooch then start work.

It's now 04.14.
