general topics missing

would somebody please tell me were the general topics and jokes pages are as I cannot find them since returning

from our cruise

They are where they have always been - but you will only see them when you are logged in

That does, however, give the impression that nobody is posting anything so the lurker is likely to go away without logging on or indeed posting anything.

I will only log on if I want post something but have always seen the Friday jokes without logging on...is this a recent change.

Remember that, unlike the old P&O board, you can remain logged in on this site by ticking the 'log me on automatically each visit' box that is part of the log in procedure.

If anybody is having any problems then please send an email to site administration ... this can be done by clicking the link in the 'Having a problem' section at the bottom of the log in (or any other) page.

Over the last few weeks I have had a few comments made to me that some of the "General" topics may not show the forum and/or its members in a good light to the casual viewer and, as these are not cruise related I decided that it would be better if they could only be read by members. It also means that they do not end up in the likes of Google search (just in case Mr Cameron decides that they could corrupt members of the public).

I also his a few other of the fora from "public" view - things like bon voyage and ship's meets again so that casual viewers and Mr Google would not know who was away.
