Lots of the "White Stuff"

Unread post by Dancing Queen »

No not what you pour into a glass but the "snow" it looks as if it is the length and breadth of the Country, started here in Derbyshire about 3 hours ago and is coming down thick and fast .... what is it like where you are.

Yep we've had some of the white stuff today but not as much as I thought we would. I managed to make it into work today but left at about 1-ish.

Hi, nice to be here.

We have lots of white stuff here and we haven't been out as there is no grit or salt in our road. It is polar bear country. The family walked round pulling the kids on a sled, and we had mayhem for an hour, they were so excited. They left about 5pm when it was dark! I hope it will be better tomorrow.

Another one from Derbyshire! We've had enough. The best place for snow is on Christmas Cards!!! Managed to clear this afternoon's fall. Fingers crossed we don't get any more during the night.

We've had quite a bit, but only this afternoon - only what was left from Monday before that. Still having flurries now, but don't think it will be too bad. Left work at about 3 pm and the roads were pretty clear to be honest.

Great to see some old faces 8-) 8-)

We had quite a bit in Sussex. Schools closed in the town and a bit slippery out there. -( and looking forward to an epic snowball fight in the close tomorrow :-) :-)

Still no white stuff here, all around us but not in this little spot, we do tend to miss most of the time, a lot of the bad weather.

We drove across from Northumberland this morning where we had had quite a lot of snow yesterday. The A1 was not good around Alnwick and we hit a heavy snow shower on the A69 but were surprised to see no snow at all, apart from on the fell tops when we got into Cumbria. So much for the weather reports on the TV!!
It's a pity really as I love snow, even though it causes havoc on the roads.

Well today the white stuff has eventually reached this part of Essex, started early this morning and seems as the day is going on to be getting heavier, still snowing now.

With a bit of luck may not be able to make that dentists appointment on Tuesday ;)

Not in Chesterfield either DK although what we've had is still fairly deep and no sign of it thawing.

Jack are you in the Midlands area ??
