Query on PMs

My In-box has 34 out of 40 messages. Whilst I understand that one can delete unwanted / no longer needed PMs from this folder, what happens to new in bound PMs to me after I reach 40 messages. Does the sender get a message? And do Moderators/System Admin PMs enjoy an overide of this limit or do they delete 1 or more messages of mine to "make room" for theirs?

When you reach the limit of PMs in your inbox any new ones will be held back until you have deleted or saved some of them. The sender does not get any notification that this is the case.

You could also ' move ' some of them into another folder rather than delete them ...
