Forum meet
Further to previous topics on meeting of forum members Suespud, Dai's wife and I had our own mini-meet at lunch time today. If anyone in commuting distance of Newcastle would like to join us we will be meeting again in a months or so's time. Do we have any takers?

Depends which Newcastle you mean! We're only 12 miles from Newcastle-under-Lyme, rather more distant from the other one!

Re: Forum meet
I'd love to meet you all but it's a little far for me to come for lunch. Maybe if my OH buys me a private jet for Christmas.

Re: Forum meet
Eileen (MRS B) who has the washer woman avatar lives near there. You would have fun with her Sue because I have met her and been out for a drink when I was near there with my son and family. We never stopped laughing. She is so easy to get on with. Just like you are, so you should get on well if she sees this post.

I know what you mean. You wouldn't want to be caught up there in the dark

My wife used another cruise channel for a good many years
A meeting was arranged not so far from our home
It was a huge success, and we really enjoyed our day
Very strange it was that nobody matched the image we had conjured up of our cyber friends

Now that isn't the picture I have in my mind of you Graham ... I imagine you to be rather 'dapper' ( despite your love for your ferrets
) and would probably give our very own Mr Kane a run for his money

What I can say about our Stephen is that his avatar doesn’t do him justice...he is in fact, tall
and handsome...a bit like me without the hair
