Unread post by Whynd1 »

I live very close to mumbles head and we have just recorded winds of 92 mph,I am watching the trees in my back garden swaying quite violently.

My OH is staying at The Village in Swansea at the moment.
We lived in Caswell Bay apartments for six years...I bet it's dramatic. I hope everyone is safe.

We have a force 12 coming up the Irish sea straight at us tonight. It's blowing a gale now and we had hailstones this afternoon. I won't sleep tonight thinking of what damage we may face tomorrow. We've got the shutters down on the French doors. What's happening with the weather. :( Looking out at the sea you wouldn't want to be out there on a ship at the moment.

I live close Mumbles too, backing onto the cliff tops and I can't see out of the windows as they are coated in sand and our palm trees are bending double. I can hear the tiles shifting on the roof which is a great worry!
