There are definitely a few signs now. Even a SAD like me is beginning to cheer up.

You were brave going to Freeport. Normally it's like Siberia over there.

We have had some lovely weather here in the sunny Costa Del Clacton over the last few days, gave the lawn it first cut of the year and tidied up the garden borders last Saturday, a lovely sunny day.

I have a border of geraniums that I would normally dig up during the winter, but are still perfectly ok, just hope the frosts keep at bay, lots of shrubs with new growth very early this year, even fuchsias. My pots of violas are looking great as they have done so far throughout the winter.

We often enjoy a visit to Freeport, although last visit was just before Christmas to get a few last minute presents.

I have snowdrops tete a tete daffodils ,primroses and primulas in full bloom. Ribes in flower. An outdoor Azalea flowering too. The climbing roses have new delicate leaves showing. I am fearful that we will get a frost and all these new shoots will crumple and die.
