The Giant is made up

Unread post by gfwgfw »

Dear Shipmates

After a painful six months I had a minor op to help with my Spinal Stenosis

I must say that Poole Hospital were brilliant

The procedure was fully explained to me with both positives and negatives

It was completely painless and the after care was truly 5 star

Just wondering if any one has had a similar procedure

The only problem was getting frigging theatre robe on

So that's what the news bulletin was all about. They reported someone at the hospital was doing moonies at the window to passers by with the words 'Kiss Me Quick' tattooed on the butt :D

Glad it all went well for Graham and that you were well looked after. It's nice to hear good hospital reports for a change.

Take care

What a relief! Sue was frightened out of her wits as we walked around Poole Park Graham. She thought she had seen a ghost, but it must have been you in that theatre robe.

Glad it all went well for you! You've got more nerve than me...my biggest fear is hospitals!!

Glad to hear all went well, and refreshing to get such a positive view of the NHS for a change too.

As for the problem putting the theatre robe on, did you put it on the wrong way round?? If so it must have caused quite a stir!!

It will only cause a stir if you dangle it in your tea ;)

. . . . and by the way

It is so nice be able get out and about once more

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Early this morning the sun was at it's late February very best

So with my pain free lower regions together we decided to have a sojourn into the beautiful rural Dorset-shire country byways

With our trusty bus pass we journeyed to the seaside resort of Swanage, passing the ruins of Corfe Castle, then high up in the Purbeck Hills ending at the restored railway terminus, soon to be connected to the main line SW service at Wareham just as it was prior to butcher Beacham

The return leg was via the famous chain ferry taking in the elegant, pricey Sandbanks peninsular

If any of my shipmates had a more enjoyable day, then let's hear about it

I don't think going to Tesco's is on a par to that
