Clarissa Dickson Wright RIP

Unread post by Frank Manning »

I just finished writing on the pinch an inch posting when I spotted news of the death of Clarissa; one very jolly fat lady chef. Sad news. She had quite a chequered life, but was always fun to see on TV.

One less colourful character, amid the grey self obsessed so called celebs.

Goodness, I see she was only 66.

I never watched her shows so don't really know much about her although had obviously heard of her and seen articles about her.

RIP Clarissa.

I am another who never really saw much of her but in the bits I did see she seemed to talk a lot of common sense (never catch on these days!)

RIP

A very clever and talented lady whose life had as many downs as ups. However she was a colourful character. RIP

I was a big fan of the "Two Fat Ladies" they made me laugh as well as being entertaining chefs. They were like the Morecambe
and Wise of cookery.

Sad to see Clarissa leave us at such a young age as well, but she certainly had a full life of good and bad times. RIP.
