Keep smiling, it's good for your well being

Only a month too late
let's hope that the Jocks vote for independence so we can put them forward an hour all year long

The local church didn't do theirs until 0900hrs this morning, so the first couple of hourly rings were wrong - if you see what I mean. I thought it was quite quaint.

The very much loved and large Village Clock has been retarded instead of being advanced the hour on our beautiful timepiece how confusing is that
Mind you rural Dorset is a tad behind the times most of the time, must dash as it is fast coming up to lunchtime

Daylight saving time? My bottom! Any time that I might have saved was spent this morning changing all our timepieces.

Don't know why they call it daylight saving. You still get same hours of daylight but just at a different time.

With you on that completely Susan.
If Scotland votes to leave the UK perhaps one of the benefits will be we can leave our clocks alone instead of changing them to appease Scottish farmers who don't grasp that simple concept!
Office/factory/shop/public service workers etc are of course forced to conform to their employers opening and closing hours but farmers can choose when to start and when to finish, judged by the light, the weather etc, irrespective of what the clock says.
But while we're stuck with it, there's always a clock or two I forget. It's usually something like the central heating timer than I miss until I realise my toes are cold. This year, as I write this I realise our car clocks are still on winter time.
