No thanks, it's on in the background because Lorraine is watching it, cannot stand any of this years judges, and so far tonight it's been absolute rubbish, how they put the two screaming sisters through I will never know.

I only really get interested when he gets to the live shows

Having said that we have tickets to see last years winner Sam Bailey in February.

At last seen somebody who can sing, the girl who came back.

Yep, I'm back in the fold with X Factor again, only because the old team are back together, well almost.

Didn't bother with it after Simon went over to the dark side.

A good show last night though wasn't it. Some real talent.......and rubbish. I thought the old bird in the stockings and suspenders was top totty  . They either deliberately put these time wasters on just for entertainment value or don't bother vetting them to see if they know what day of the week it is let alone if they can string two notes together.

Watched it last night although I only tend to watch the audition stages. Too much. Time wasted on pointless background interviews but on last night's performances the stand out for me was the posh bird - classy, fascinating and not at all a bad singer. She'll have a run for her money with Stephen's top tatty though. She gives me hope of becoming a Chippendale.

Oh I'm sure they show the rubbish acts just for the entertainment value, I was so pleased when they stopped the stocking and suspender woman though .. I dread to think what might have come off next :o

I also thought the woman who dressed as Cheryl did ( the uniform outfit ) was hilarious

The 'posh bird' surprised me the most I wasn't expecting that voice, a very serious contender I would think as too is the girl that appeared previously a few years ago.

Yep my Saturday night has just got better and I love that Cheryl and Simon are back, not sure about Mel B I don't think she will handle Cheryl's popularity very well.

Hi Jo,

It would be stretching it a bit to say l was an avid fan of the x factor as l only watch it every Saturday night

like Obf l thought the posh bird was brill so can see her going all the way as for the tramp in the stockings and suspenders it was after that l started feeling sick.

As I posted earlier, I don't really watch it although Lorraine does, normally I am doing other things, so i miss most of what is going on, it's only when I suddenly hear somebody who can sing, I look up and take note.

I agree with DQ last night they were the posh girl, and the girl who had been in it before.

As for the judges they might as well not be there as far as I am concerned, cannot stand any of them, hate the banter that goes on between them with a passion.

For me I much prefer the voice, I normally watch that that via IPlayer on my IPad, and listen via a good set of earphones, they have a lot of talent on that show. But the winner does not get the backing and publicity of somebody like Simon Cowell, so you tend not to hear too much about them afterwards.

I didn't think that the lad at the end was as good as the judges were making him out to be (but hey what do I know?) but that may have been more down to what he was singing. I guess that it must be an age thing because most of what they were singing, no matter how good/bad they were singing, did not appeal to me and, rightly or wrongly, I believe that song choice plays a major part in this type of competition.

I though four of them were good last night, the young lad with the guitar, the girl who had been to Judge's Houses before, the posh girl Chloe and the last Welsh guy - I though Chloe and the last guy were amazingly good.

As from next Saturday, X Factor will be up against Strictly.

Strictly will go out from 20:00-21:15, while X Factor airs from 20:00-21:05. :o
