Logged Out
Although I save my password and have asked to be logged in automatically, can you please explain why now ever time I visit this site, I am asked to log in with my user name and password, even though I have not logged out from my previous visit.
This is something which has only started recently and is a pain in the butt.
I mainly post from my IPad, and do not have this problem on other sites I may visit.

Re: Logged Out
Nothing at all has changed on the forum over the last few weeks, in fact nothing has changed in the last few months.
If you are being logged out after every visit then my first guess would be that it is a cookie problem and if you have not already done so use the link at the bottom to delete all the board cookies.

Re: Logged Out
I have my ' Browser ', using Win 7, set to delete all History / Cookies on exit. Doing so gets shot of all the crappo ads etc but will also result in the problem that you have described.
Keep smiling, it's good for your well being

Re: Logged Out
Just been asked to change my password before being allowed to login. I could understand it if the site was a threat to national security, but a cruise community forum..

Not that I am personally aware of but it seems that it is possible with some Browsers, as per ... I had that a while ago too....had so many problems trying to reset it that the eventual new password may have ended up a bit rude!Stephen wrote:Just been asked to change my password before being allowed to login. Re: Logged Out
It's strange since I reported the problem of having to log in every time I visited the forum with my name and password, even although I never Log out, which had been happening for about a week.
However since I reported it on the OP, I have had no problems, I have been logged in automatically every visit, have tried on several occassions to test it and have had no problems, have done nothing different or altered any settings, strange.
The last time I was asked to alter my password was the 1st November.

Again - nothing has changed.
I would put it down to the vagaries of the i-pad (which do tend to have a mind of their own at times)
