Re: Happy New Year!
What a year 2015 was.
For me and the family it started with my cancer flaring up and an operation to remove a new tumour from the orbit of my eye.
In May my Daughter got married at our house in Malcesine on Lake Garda in Italy.
In October I was told that my Lymphoma was now back into remission.
Now the icing on the cake. My daughter gave birth this morning at 4am to a baby boy. “Cole, Alexander, Macintyre. At last an heir for the castle. Lady Macbeth is still up on cloud nine.
In Scotland a “Hogmanay Baby” is revered as being something more than special. The whole of Moray will be lit up tonight and the "usquebaugh, the water of life" will flow freely.
I could not ask for a more beautiful end to the year and I would like to wish all members of this wonderful forum the very best for the coming year 2016. If I am still sober at the bells, I will toast you all.
