Help from any Virgin email users please
My email is actually a ntlworld one but it's via Virgin Media. What I'm trying to find out is why any emails in my inbox are getting deleted after about 4 weeks. I know I can move them to a folder and this is what I'm doing now but the emails never used to get deleted so quickly. I've tried looking at the Virgin Help thing but it's all gobbledegook to me. Is anyone able to tell me in the simplest language possible how I stop emails being deleted after such a short time? Just remember I'm fairly ignorant of any technical terms! Many thanks for any help.

Does this help, Carole? Is this just happening in your Spam and Trash folders?

Thanks for the reply Foxy. No it's the inbox emails that seem to disappear after about 30 days. I looked at the page you suggest but that's just about how to delete emails. I want to know if I can keep emails in my inbox for more than 30 days without them apparently being automatically deleted.

That's interesting Carole. According to the Virgin website they delete emails from the Spam and Trash boxes every 30 days. However it says nothing (that I can find) about emptying your inbox as well. It may be worth giving their Customer Services a ring. There are quite a few problems, it seems, with emails and ntlworld with emails going missing, not getting through etc. If you Google ntlworld emails missing there seems to be lots of people like yourself experiencing problems.
