Check Your Insurance Policy

Unread post by Raybosailor »

If you've got an insurance policy underwritten by Enterprise Insurance, you should urgently check if you're still covered as they have gone bust.
About 46000 car insurance policies are affected but it is not just car insurance that is affected as I found out yesterday when I got several letters from Grant Thornton who have been appointed liquidators of Enterprise.

I wasn't even aware that I had insurance policies underwritten by Enterprise but apparently the glazing company I have used on several projects had their FENSA 10 year guarantor policies underwritten by them.

The AA motor insurance policies were one of the main creditors of Enterprise but there are many others and some drivers might find out that they are not covered.

Don't just think that the insurance company you use is not named Enterprise because all insurance companies are underwritten by another company, check your insurance documents to see who the underwriters are.

Check your documents on all insurance even pet insurance.

This has come as a bit of a shock to my son as Enterprise operate from Gibraltar where he worked for five years and he had many friends at Enterprise who employed a lot of people there.
