A bit of an icon whose voice and accent as Cleggy and latterly as Wallace will long be remembered. RIP
I was taught to be cautious

No more cheese then, Gromit!
Such a lovely man, and a really good actor.

What? Not even Wensleydale?
He had a unique voice. I never heard impressionists take him off, so it could be the end of Wallace, too. RIP

R.I.P. Peter .... many of my years have just passed me by, we used to take the boys to Holmfirth and environs to see the ' Last of the Summer Wine ' locations.
Keep smiling, it's good for your well being

Lovely programme but went downhill once the original cast began to disappear. A friend on mine in the BBC worked on the show for years. She loved it.
