P&O brochure request

Unread post by Stephen »

Anyone else having problems getting a brochure sent out by post.

I have tried requesting a few times over several weeks online, via reservations and even one of the head honcho's who say they will make sure one is sent out, and still nothing.

Perhaps they're trying to tell me something :D

Why not just pop in to a local TA and pick one off the shelf?

Our local ta never has them. But Mrs s is going up the town this morning so I'll get her to see if the ta have one. It still doesn't excuse why I cannot get one online.

Compo claim coming up.

We haven't been sent a brochure for a couple of years. I tend to pick one up when I'm on a cruise

Got a celebrity one the other day, and didn't even have to ask for it. Perhaps P&O could ask Celebrity what online technology they use as theirs certainly does bu99er all.

As an established cruiser I find the brochure less valuable these days as generally it has less detailed information than on line, particularly in these days of fluid pricing. The brochure is out of date before it comes through the letter box.

What also frustrates me in the brochure and on line is that they can't be bothered to give photos and layouts of the cabin types specific to ship. For example the layout of a mini suite on Aurora is completely different from that on Oceana. Not that I can usually afford a mini suite on either but you see what I mean.

I think the brochure these days is more a taster for new customers than anything else.

Merv, my wife loves reading the cruise brochures, studying the deck plans and layouts, and reading up on all the activities, useful tips and even the T&C's.
I agree that the prices are quickly out of date but they do provide a useful baseline price for future comparison.
Whereas, especially on my tablet, quickly trying to find the same information can be a struggle, if your finger lingers too long over a hot spot you find yourself opening up all sorts of other pages you don't want to view, at least the brochures stay put and don't leap about everywhere.
