FAO: The Mods - is it OK if .....
My son and I have entered the Great South Run which is to be held at the end of October, do you Mods mind if I put details of our fund raising pages up? He is running for Help for Heroes and I will be running for Macmillan Cancer Support. Just wanted to check
Many thanks - an already achy and worn out little Invigilator x

am happy to report that training is going really well, have managed to get upto 7 miles on the treadmill and have done my first outdoor run too. My target is to complete the race in under 2 hours. Am off on a cruise very soon so training may well go down and weight will definitely go up
have had terrific support from Macmillan and am just waiting for my running shirt to come through and OH and youngest son have decided to join the cheering party along the course so they are waiting for their cheering packs too. Eldest son is super fit anyway and has decided to run the race carrying a full kit bag

Why not get your son to put you in his kitbag, you would probably fit, after all!
That way, you could claim to have completed the course, but without the need for all the training!

Romig - what an utterly brilliant idea
That means I can forget the training and return to my diet of red wine and chocolate! Mmmmmm - oh maybe not yet - must think cruise dresses!
