Anyone else enjoying this series on Ch4? I remember buying the book in the ‘70s and trying three times to start it. It was 4th time lucky & enjoyed it. Only saw the film on tv but wasn’t too impressed. This tv version is very good. Photography & music are excellent & the timing of some of the jokes is spot on. George Cluny directs and acts as Col. Scheisskopf. He also keeps it in the family with some of the songs by Auntie Rosemary.

Not read the book or seen the film but the TV show reminds me very much of MASH.
