I've lost loads of weight during the summer.
I'll now start to put it all back on

I wore my number one very very best suit to a funeral today and was so glad that I appeared to be the same size as when I had it made.

That'll never last, will it.

We had some dessert pears which were supposed to be ripen at home. They were as hard as bulls' lugs so we stewed them, added mincemeat, a few cherries and walnuts and put a crumble topping on. Absolutely delicious!!! Jamie Oliver, eat your heart out!!!!

Have to get some mince pies and Lebkuchen now.

Never heard of Lebkuchen, but having looked them up I might have to try them as they look good.

We’re not actually at home on Christmas Day, spending it with our second daughter and her family, but will be back on Boxing Day, so will make another Christmas next day with our eldest daughter and her husband. So no time for outside catering, John. Sorry
