Sky Broadband

Unread post by Stephen »

Any Sky customers on here that are having trouble connecting?

This is because the service is currently down. They finally admitted an issue after i had gone through all the usual checks several times 😡

Some tit has probably gone throug a cable somewhere.

I am with Sky and have not had any problems - it must be much more localised.

Just got reconnected. And about bl**dy time. Apparently the fault was at the exchange so the Sky automated said, yet the online system check says everything was fine. Wan...s

And of course you get the same old clap trap COvid-19 social distancing, we can't be bothered to get off our ar*es to help you but we'll still keep you hanging on the phone for ever and a day garbage.

The online check as performed by you checks you at your end rather than their end ... ish, or so I believe.

I'm not right or wrong as I didn't specify how they check the line/router. I just said, and I quote
Apparently the fault was at the exchange so the Sky automated message said, yet the online system check says everything was fine.

All I did was follow Sky's automated instructions for testing the router.
