Country File
I can remember when country file first started, it was about the country side, now it does seem to to be more political.
This Sunday we are told they will be looking at our desperately needed link road which will allow a northern route around Norwich.
We are always fighting to get our roads built in Norfolk with th environmental types doing their best to stop them.
Connecting a duel road to GT Yarmouth held up for years while Snails the size of the nail on your small finger have settled in to their new Dyke. This Sunday it's about bat's, the biggest colony in the U K, unknown until a road is proposed. Bloody Packham who lives in the N Forest has put his ore in and now his daughter will be on the show trying to stop this road.
There are plenty of other trees the bats can relocate to and no doubt the Wensum valley a SSI, will be discussed. Nature, giving the chance will recover, in just a few years you will not know the builders have pressed thru, it recovers.
Rant over, Country file, pain in the &res. Get our road built.

I don’t know anything about your road situation, but I do agree with you about how Country file has become more political…more muck and wellies would make viewing more enjoyable, that being said, we have recently left the EU so it could be argued that it is keeping farmers informed with changes afoot.
