There has been quite a large posting regarding the vexed subject of editing our efforts by our delightful moderators who ever they may be

My view is over egging the vigilance of posts makes for a very uninteresting neutered forum

Further more, moderators who are also members of the forum are placed in an invidious position in my opinion

The liberal moderation of the now defunct confection was excellent

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and to voice same in a polite and measured manner.

However, when it comes to web forums, my view remains, as it always has, that whoever owns (and pays for!) the train set gets to decide who plays with it and how they play.
