Stop n Search
I was listening to a report this morning which suggests black people are 7 times more likely to be stopped by the police… the report also suggested that Asian people are 3 times more likely to be stopped compared to that of white people. This may well be true but before we start throwing the racist card at the police the report should have highlighted ‘crime figures’ per capita of black/white people before making what could be sound reasons why certain people of colour are stopped more than others...or am I missing something?

I agree OL. My brother used to be a cop and stopped a car late at night. As it was dark he couldn't see who was driving, but it turned out to be a black guy. He immediately played the race card, "You've only stopped me because I'm black."
My brother calmly replied "No, I couldn't see what colour you were. But actually I've stopped you because this car has been reported stolen."
