I shall be 65 on the 14th July and shall be celebrating in the south of France. They very kindly give everybody the day off and put on a show of fireworks for me. Unfortunately my first state pension will not be paid until a week later :(

Oh dear yet more pressure on Batty to get some overtime in if there are even more mouths to feed (and more importantly cruises to pay for) :lolno:

Hope you enjoy retirement - I can highly recommend it

Thanks, but I won't be getting that much that I can stop working. Reduced hours is probably the best that I can hope for.

Enjoy your retirement. Everyone says they don't know how they had time to work - and it's true!

He's got broad shoulders (not to mention a generous expense account) so it won't be a problem for him :sarcasm:

Well done Ray - I should be joining you, probably around March next year.

As an aside to Mr DK - don't worry, you won't have to support me, not until 2026, anyway!
