The time has come
I shall be 65 on the 14th July and shall be celebrating in the south of France. They very kindly give everybody the day off and put on a show of fireworks for me. Unfortunately my first state pension will not be paid until a week later

Oh dear yet more pressure on Batty to get some overtime in if there are even more mouths to feed (and more importantly cruises to pay for)
Hope you enjoy retirement - I can highly recommend it

Thanks, but I won't be getting that much that I can stop working. Reduced hours is probably the best that I can hope for.Jan Rosser wrote:Oh dear yet more pressure on Batty to get some overtime in if there are even more mouths to feed (and more importantly cruises to pay for)![]()

Enjoy your retirement. Everyone says they don't know how they had time to work - and it's true!

He's got broad shoulders (not to mention a generous expense account) so it won't be a problem for himdavid63 wrote:Looks as if Dark Knight will have to work a bit harder now there will be one one benefit scrounger to support![]()

Well done Ray - I should be joining you, probably around March next year.
As an aside to Mr DK - don't worry, you won't have to support me, not until 2026, anyway!
