Quiet on here today. Where is everyone.

Well the time is drawing near, only four days to go. And so far (yesterday) I've been pumped up, weighed up, measured up, swabbed up, bled, questioned, oh, and heart checked. The last one did take a bit longer to do though as they had a job finding it. They said I had the heart of the Grinch
Hi Stephen....., and just when you thought it couldn't get any worse.......

keefy will be there to hold your hand

Have a goodun Stephen

WAH HEY......GOOD NEWS

All done and dusted. No tumour found, instead a narrowing that needed dilating/stretching. Although on the CT scan it looked like a tumour/lesion, until they could get a look inside they couldn't be 100% sure. Out patients appointment in six weeks time.
I was first on the list so no hanging about which also meant I could enjoy some of that gourmet hospital food a bit later ;) . Stayed in overnight, and did I have a laugh. The chap next to me had the same sense of humour, and we ribbed and had joke with all the nurses, who I must say were wonderful. I've also drunk enough water to fill a bath, which was a good thing.

As far as I'm concerned I won't hear a bad word about the NHS.

Like all hospital stays though you would get a better nights sleep on the side of the M23, so I'm looking forward to my bed tonight :D

Very pleased with the outcome as are the family

Sure was David.

I was peeing through broken glass at the time when my consultant came to see me. When I go back to my bed he was standing there with a big grin on his face and then told me the news.

Sure am QB.

Booked a week back at our favourite holiday cottage in Devon beginning of October and a bargain two night P&O cruise with a couple of friends in December.

My sincere thanks to everyone for all your support through what has been a bit of a worrying time to say the least, but thankfully it has turned out all right in the end. Although I have only met a few of you personally I class you all as my friends, and may that continue.
