I appreciate l may well be way off the mark on this one but when l look at the cut and slash austerity measures implemented by this coalition government l do wonder if an austerity tax would have been a better and fairer way of dealing with our national debt.
Most if not all of the austerity measures implemented will have cost million if not billions to administer, many of which have been a complete waste of tax payers money and has brought our public servies to its knees.
When l say an austerity tax l'm not talking 10p in the pound l'm talking an amount of tax per capita that will not only reduce our deficit (long term) but salvage what we still have left of our public services.
I can't at this point in time disclose my fiscal measures as l'm not bright enough to do so but was thinking somewhere in the region of £500 per annum tax increase for an avarage income earning family rising as you go up the income ladder.. bloody hell l hear you say..., but my way of thinking is that one austerity tax would be better than having to deal with all the unfair and in many cases very expensive ill thought out austerity cuts which this ' rob Peter to pay Rupert' government is all about. Oh yeah! Nearly forgot.... all you rich pensinoers would also be taxed.....again!!
Do l want to know what you think?
Nope! Cus I'm off to walk the dog.
Regards
