Who are these terrible people besmirching the character, and trying to overthrow my hero Nigel
Is there no such thing as natural justice 'nemo iudex idoneus in propria causa est' any longer in our country?
A plague on all their houses.

I was listening to Yvette Cooper on Radio 4 yesterday lunchtime and she never gave one direct answer to a direct question. At least with Farage you know what you are getting whether you agree with him or not.
Of course there is also the security of knowing he will never get into government but our political elite need a good shake up. It's all become very cosy down there in Westminster.

Yum, I like chocs - a nice box of Thorntons would do nicely, as long as they are not too out of date!Onelife wrote:Gill.......very well said....a box of keefy chocolates and a bigare on their way

Ed Milliband had the same effect on me..................... 'Friends, heck I'm a tough guy'. Yeah! You and whose army, Ed! And as for that smug little band of Balls, Harman and Cooper stood behind him I could describe them but I'd get my wrists slapped. What a despicable little group they are.suespud wrote:I'm sorry..I dont like him at all.
He makes my skin crawl.
It has nothing to do with his politics...he just makes me shudder...and not in a nice way..![]()

Never met Farage or anyone from UKIP .. I am not a fan of UKIP (they sit too far to the right for my liking) .. but I am glad they exist.Gill W wrote:I might not necessarily agree with his parties policies...... But I like him personally.
Ed and Dave didn't get near any real un-vetted voters during the election campaign, but Nigel was out there on the streets talking to people, whether they agreed with him or not, and fielding heckling with good humour.
Really, the bloke is a breath of fresh air on the political scene.

Nope I thought the same KenKendhni wrote:LOLoldbluefox wrote:As for Mrs Krankie she is till harping on
First we had Salmond, now Sturgeon ... am I the only one who thinks there is something fishy going on?

Naah, I still think that Ken's a decent sort of bloke who should deffo not be made to resign.Silver_Shiney wrote:I had thought he'd done the honourable thing by fulfilling his promise to resign.
Then, almost immediately afterwards, he's reinstated? That sounds, to my cynical mind, like it was staged. If he was sincere about resigning, I feel he should have left, whether the party accepted his resignation or not.
I'm afraid he's gone down in my estimation.
