I rarely eat toast on board - there's far more interesting things to eat at breakfast time, such as the muesli station, where you can pick your fruits nuts and seeds. I eat a lot of toast at home, so I like something different on holiday

Muesli station? Is that in the buffet restaurant? We nearly always have breakfast in the MDR.
We usually go to the MDR for breakfast but I do miss using the muesli station in the buffet - you can mix a wonderful concoction from the fruits, especially the red berries mixture and yoghurt which I put on top of the muesli. When I get back to the table, my husband always says 'I don't know how you can eat that disgusting mess' but I totally agree with Gill W on this one - absolute heaven.

I adore museli but unfortunately, the seeds, fruits, nuts and grains do not like me at all and I become quite ill if I eat them

Please tell me why the standard loaf is too big for the standard toaster. I have to the cut the ends off too. Surely the bread makers and the toaster makers could liaise?? :)

I think that sums it up.... yet more clever marketing, or what I refer to as "Create a Need" Like 20 different types of cough medicine for 20 different types of cough, or 20 types of shampoo for 20 hair types. Is it just me???

Very amusing at the time

Sharing a table with a lady for breakfast, she was being looked after by a young lad who was obviously not too experienced

The dear lady requested brown toast, which was quickly served to her

"This is not brown bread young man"

The waiter frowned and took it back to the toaster, gave it a good blast

"Is this Brown enough Madam"

We just had to smile, a good start to our day

Chedder and Jalapeno from the Co-op. Their bread is fabulous.

Co-op bread gives me indigestion, ditto Waitrose ... Hovis's Seed Sensations however does not, nor Warburtons etc.
