Please forgive me for placing this post here and not within the general post area, but I wanted to cover as many members as possible.
Ray and his family, myself and my family as well as many, many other members of this forum have in their time been effected by the numerous variations of this horrible illness.
The various charities who push research, provide care and assistance are always looking for, not only different ways to raise money, but also ways to raise awareness.
If every member of this forum were to give up “Alcohol” for the whole month of this September and become a Dryathlete just imagine the benefit and wellbeing your bodies would feel. After a summer of overindulgence, clear your heads, feel fitter and save some money for your next cruise.
Now I know that for some, not to signal out Stephen in any way or form, may find this rather hard and perhaps impossible to do. Well you can still help.
Every time you fall by the wayside, for every alcoholic drink you consume during September, then give the equivalent value in cash to “Cancer Research UK”.
You can donate through their website at: http://www.cancerresearchuk.org/support ... /dryathlon
