Only for the WiFi qb I am coeliac so even if I wanted to eat that rubbish I can't, just tea or coffee and WiFi and sometimes just sit in the car park.qbman1 wrote:Ray - point of order. If you are not home, you must still be in France, which means you must be spending an awful lot of time in Macdonalds ?!
I can access the net with my mobile but as you can guess I just pop in and out for a few minutes cos I'm too tight to pay for a roaming package.
We are in Buffalo Bills Steakhouse (doesn't sound very french does it ?) at the moment after our trip to the supermarket and there's a good connection here too.
I was in Les Andale last week and I picked up a signal from a Viking River Cruise ship and an American I was talking to gave me the log in details and for the hotel he had just been in for a drink.
Bit cheeky I know but I even have the password for WiFi at a barbers in Louviers and I'm as bald as a badger.
Will be on home soil at le weekend so internet courtesy of Newhaven Premier Inn then back to Virgin broadband and my log fire.

Winter, winter!!
What do all you “Sooth Moothers” know of winter?
Up here on the “Costa del Moray” we can get all seasons in the same day and if you want to know about the “Polar Vortex” then you just had to stand on our balcony today looking out over the Firth and the North Sea to witness nature at its worst.
The good news is that Mother Nature, as it pertains to my health, has given me a two month break until round four. Enough time for Lady Macbeth and me, in three weeks, to fly out to Verona and close up the house in Malcesine for the winter and see our God Daughter who has just had her PhD confirmed from the Politecnico di Milano, then fly down to Malta for our dose of Christmas Cheer and her ladyship’s festive shopping. If timed correctly we should be back on the 23rd ready to put up and decorate the tree assuming that the “Hydro Electric” company have managed to keep the lights on this year.

Re: The start of winter
Hope all's going well with your treatment ITWA.
Down here it's a perishing cold wind, the temperature has really dropped but Spring must be on its way as we keep getting April showers. It's alright for some going off to warmer climes.
I've just been talking to my friends at TalkTalk and told them what bloody awful weather we are having. The operator said how lucky we were as in India it was very hot indeed and she would love some nice cold weather. I said at this moment in time I would gladly swap. There's nowt so funny as folk is there?
