The NHS will never have enough money - because it reverses the old proverb. In the NHS invention is the mother of necessity. As soon as a new treatment/procedure/diagnostic test is invented it is necessary to provide it. Added to which we have an increasing - not to mention ageing - population - so more demand for existing services. without someone inventing any new ones!
