Has it not occurred to him that if Brexit wins on 23rd June it's highly unlikely he'll be Chancellor on 24th?

Unless you're thinking of topping him then I suspect he will hang around for as long as possible. He would have to be sacked by the PM or resign, neither of which are likely until the PM is forced into a leadership battle, which will take some time.

There may be a while before a leadership contest but I think if remain wins CMD and Georgie Boy will take the blame and will be forced out or resign very quickly

The remain group in the conservative party do have a majority, so if they were to rally round CMD it may not be a foregone conclusion that Boris would win a leadership battle.
If they really believe some of the tripe they've been spouting, they will definitely prefer Dave to head up the Brexit negotiations, which might screw us worse than still being in the EU.

If they lose the referendum surely the Remain group will turn on him for screwing up first the negotiations with the EU and then the campaign and dividing the party. My view is he's toast unless Remain win with a decisive majority

It was a terrible tragedy and no-one will ever really know why it happened. After the respectful pause in the campaign I imagine, from what I've read about her, that Jo would wish them to resume the democratic process and not try to relate her death to how anyone should vote.

I believe that the Conservative Party have already said they won't contest it.
However there may well be some cranks ?
