Well, I've watched more television in the run up to the referendum that at any time in history! One thing I did notice - while the Brexiteers largely allowed the Remains to speak and get their point across (bear in mind I can only comment on the programmes I saw), the Remains were so rude, interrupting and shouting over points they didn't agree with. This morning, on Facebook, there is no gloating from the winning side, but many, many posts from the losing side expressing fear and being very nasty to those that voted the other way, and using some absolutely foul language, the latter mostly from young graduates.
You're right there, Ann. Mostly good grace from the Leave camp but a lot of Remain supporters are still spitting bile. Bill Oddie has been having a right old rant on Twaddle saying that the "pensioner's generation" have let down the younger generation who are not old enough to vote. Apparently, his 14-year-old granddaughter is "in tears".

There are some, though, like Monty Don (sorry for calling you a "tit" yesterday!) and Richard Osman, who were loud in their support for Remain but are now saying that we need to talk to one another and all get along.

EU Referendum Rules triggering a 2nd EU Referendum

We the undersigned call upon HM Government to implement a rule that if the remain or leave vote is less than 60% based a turnout less than 75% there should be another referendum.

PLEASE, Nooooooo - I can't go through all that again !!
Typical EU

If you lose then just change the rules so that you win.
Hey presto!!
Remember Eire ?

So no - not again and if Mrs Krankie doesn't like I very happy for her to go and play in her own backyard.

This not me speaking as a little Englander but if one of the chicks wants to fly the nest ther is no point trying to stop it.

Remind me - what has happened to the price of oil in dollars ?

I see she still clings to the notion that they will be able to use sterling.

It will be a rocky ride for a bit. But there is another side to this generation argument. The older generation who rely on shares for their incomes and pensions will undoubtedly suffer straight away. So how can they have let the younger generation down? I liken their action to that they took in the wars of the last century, when they made painful decisions without any thought for themselves, even giving their lives, for the benefit of future generations. A admirable sentiment that some of the younger generation don't seem to have grasped yet, much less give the older generation credit for. These days young couples want everything now when they move in together, some even getting into debt for it. They don't seem to be able to look into the future and consider the repercussions of their actions. Sometimes you have to go though the tough times to create a secure future.

Going back on topic.

Give it a week or two when all the hoo-ha, blame game and analysing has been done to death and we'll wonder what all the fuss was about. We'll all still be here, the sun will still rise and set etc...

Who, what ME for PM? 'I didn't seek the position, I never looked for the limelight ...... and other various bits written for Malvolio by Shakespeare'.

Now then, when I'm PM, there will be tax refunds for bad weather (too hot, too cold and too wet), and special tax allowances for people wot cruise.

The trick is - find out the 'new rules of the new game', and play it to your advantage. Good luck everyone!

Who, what me (blushing and smiling), PM???? Great - quoting various bits written for Malvolio by Shakespeare...... " One never sought favour etc".

So - here's the deal - tax refunds for bad weather, and tax allowances for people wot cruise becos they have been out of the country on the ship and not using stuff in the homeland!

Meanwhile, moving on from what DQ has posted elsewhere about Carnival moving out of Southampton - I wouldn't (sadly) rely too much on Tata staying in Port Talbot, neither would I hold out much hope for car manufacturers such as Nissan in Sunderland, Toyota and Honda, and maybe even the Mini will move abroad for a production line?

So, vote Boris - and you won't know what hit you!

It'll be ages until we actually leave.
Ol' Dave isn't going to 'invoke article 50'. He's going to let his successor do that, and we won't have a new PM until October time.

Then it'll take another 2 years at least to sort out all the red tape.

So we're looking at 2019 at the earliest

By that time, we'll all be feeling happy and secure again and the country might even be prospering again. The leave people will probably end up forgetting why they voted out, and will look for someone to blame when it goes wrong for them

What amazes me is the fact that some 10 million people could not be bothered to vote.

Getting nervous Brexiteers? They've got to come good on their promises now. I wont be holding my breath seeing what a rag tag bunch were leading the campaign. Never mind, if Bojo is PM as least PM's questions will be hilarious, if he can ever splutter out a complete sentence which makes any sense.

Mrs Krankie is already pushing for a new Scottish independence referendum. Why do I get the feeling that all those Jocks who voted "Remain" yesterday were really voting for Scottish independence ?!

You get that feeling because it was a "given". Will the Spanish veto an application to join?they won't the haggis munchers setting a precedent for the Basques to follow

On the news last night Farage was saying that if the Remain majority was less than 2 million then it would be down to the "extended" registration period and action would need to be taken - so as the Brexit majority was about 1.2 million should the same apply?

Mr Garage seems to forget that that claim works both ways. He's lost a lot of credibility in recent days.

Now, UKIP was formed to give Brexiteers a voice. So, as our voice has now been heard, is there a need for UKIP?

They could use a form of sterling, as Gibraltar does, with a 1:1 exchange rate.

The best part is that he has talked himself out of a job as we will not need any MEPs come the revolution

Considering The Brexit voters won, there hasn't been much of a popular outpouring of joy from them. All I've come across are anxious, concerned people who are worried about what the future holds. I suspect some of them voted leave, and are now wondering what the hell they've done

So, Boris for PM and Trump for president - what could possibly go wrong with that scenario?

Ah Gill. That's the populist way. Rubbish anyone who disagrees with you but don't offer real alternatives. Did I read today Farage is saying the £350M slogan was a mistake?....hang on a minute it was all over the Brexit Bus Nige.

We want a new hospital every week now. Oh! wait a minute, no foreigners allowed in either, so we cant staff them.

Nobody - NOBODY - has said "no foreigners allowed in". All we want in controlled immigration, so we choose who can come in to work and contribute to our country. What we don't want (and cannot afford or sustain) is an open door policy where people are free to come here (from anywhere in the world) and abuse our benefits system, overload the NHS and general creaking infrastructure. Yes, some eastern Europeans have come here to work in low paid jobs (because some of our home grown youth can't be bothered to get out of bed) - but their wages are probably too low for them to pay tax, so while they are working, they're not contributing.

Wednesday there was so much talk about the referendum being fixed. You must take your own pen as 'they' are going to erase the pencil vote.
Gone very quiet.
