Nothing wrong with a tin bah in front of the fire. Nippy round the Urals this time of year though down the garden.

Is it just me, or does Lucy Worsley always look as though she is in the middle of an erotic fantasy ?!

Looks a bit like the nurse I went out with in the eighties - she hasn't aged well, though !

Maybe the Beeb was over reacting a bit, just like they do with most news items nowadays.

Just waiting for the news to say the country has ground to halt. I'm amazed the schools are still open. Normally it's two flakes and it's shut shop.

If you believed all the bad news on the Beeb life would not be worth living, fortunately their news, weather and political pundits all operate on the glass half empty principle whereas mine is always half full, with a bottle ready to top it up when needed. :D

The bad news on "the news" is actually a good sign. What makes news is stuff which is unusual. Coastal towns not flooded isn't news. A flood is. And so on.
