They do. Over caution. And a waste of time. If you really want to kill yourself you can go to another till or another shop and buy more. But in our case when we both had heavy colds and needed to top up our medicine drawer it was a pain in the bum when I was already feeling miserable.
The restriction on buying Paracetamol and Ibuprofen together is indeed nonsense as they are often used together. However.....the restriction on the amount of paracetamol you can buy has achieved its intended purpose. I too was sceptical when it was introduced, but many who take overdoses do so on impulse, and the smaller quantities you can buy usually mean people have less of it lying around at home, so the incidence of self poisoning has indeed dropped.
Anyhow paracetamol doesn't kill you per se, it just wrecks your liver; - so you die a week or two later from the consequences of liver failure. Not a pleasant way to go, and plenty of time to reflect on what you've done.

Flaming June, more like Autumn. Horrendous weather yesterday, played havoc with the roses which were looking lovely at the weekend.

Monty Don is to devote some time to the rabbit problem for gardeners on a future programme, maybe Cubie snould invite him to his allotment.

Won't be around tomorrow - of for a jolly, sorry, meeting at some flash venue out in the country. Happens to be in the village where Theresa May grew up

If he does win the country is stuffed.

But there's worse.

What do you mean - will be ?!

Whatever happens, though, he isn't going to win outright. Worst case scenario is Jezzer leading the biggest party and propped up by Mrs Krankie

Oh yea of little faith, my forecast is a conservative majority of 120, in 2015 I was spot on, just hope I can continue in the same way.
