Been waiting outside Cubie's house all night. Lights off. Curtains pulled. Gate locked. Large dog loose in garden. Is this normal?

It was Matlock. I'm sure Matlock Bath must have been the height of fashion at one time but now there are loads of "Biker Clearance" shops and I have never seen so many fish and chip "restaurants" in one place - I reckon 2 out of every 3 premises along the main drag

That's not unusual - we get ten or a dozen going past at a time ! Ridiculous - virtually all double-deckers and seldom any with more than 3 or 4 people on board.
