. It’s not perfect,but perhaps I’m expecting too much. My Optom said that it could take up to a year to get maximum improvement.

I had the op because I had an epi-retinal crease. The op to fix that brings on an cataract. I was almost blind in the right side of my left eye. I had my op done, through BUPA, in the Nuffield hospital in Chandlers Ford Nr Southampton. I had to wait, but my eyesight was deteriorating and the Optom said I needed the op quickly.
Mobietta also tells me that it is possible for her eye or eyes to deteriorate at a later date due to the scaring caused by the lens replacement. That is not an issue however as it can be easily fixed with laser treatment.
