It does normally for me. But when I went back in this time and deleted the apostrophe it gave me an error message when I tried to submit.

Must be your mystical powers!

p.s. Can you use them again to delete the "r". It's a Pace rather than a Pacer!

If only 😁😁😁

Considering I’m now one of Priti Patel’s economically inactive, it’s a Tiguan for me now.

To be fair, after many years of Mercs and Jags, I’m happy with it.
I can’t believe how many miles I’ve done since moving down here.

Mrs B bought a new Juke last week because it’s higher and her journey to her shop in Torrington became dodgy due to the road flooding.

I hear Jezzer is saying the budget is not enough to reverse the damage done to the economy. I presume he means the damage done by Gordon Brown.....

I would like to have seen how the Labour front bench reacted as Rishi stole their clothes with so many of his policy announcements.

Come on guys dont keep harking back to Gordon Brown. However much I agree with the sentiments a lot of water has flowed under the bridge since then. Why I am even moved to say that Boris has performed much better than I expected in the current crisis. We must all live in the here and now.

The Labour party need to get 'real'. They are faffing about when they desperately need to become relevant to more than a Marxist or extreme left minority.

I agree with you Frank the Conservatives have now been in office for 10 yrs so Gordon Brown's excessive largesse is now well and truly in the past.
I too am pleasantly surprised at how well Boris is handling the CV crisis, but like you I am disappointed at how long and drawn out the Labour leadership race is taking, they desperately need a new leader with a new front bench and some fresh ideas at the despatch box.

My point about GB was that they keep banging on about the impact of "austerity" which was only necessary because he flogged the family silver.

They also keep talking about there not being enough beds in the NHS or trained staff. But it was Labour which cut 20% of the beds in the plans for our new hospital built on their watch. It was they who cut NHS training places. And given how long it takes to train health professionals, especially doctors, you can't turn that tap on and off.

The crisis in care is in large part down to their muffed negotiation of the new GP contract. And the stifling NHS bureaucracy is largely the result of their repeated reorganisations and micro management. None of it is the fault of the brilliant staff.

So any banging on about GB, which I promise I'll stop now, is a response to their current leadership (if it can actually be called that) forgetting the history.

As for Boris. Yes I'm impressed. And hugely relieved it's not Jezzer in charge now.

I can't put into words, without being banned from this site for ever, how I feel about that despicable little toad (that's cleaned up) Corbyn right now.

Sitting back making political capital out of Coronavirus.

He says it proves he was right about spending.

Can the idiot (very cleaned up) not understand that this pandemic is a once in a generation, no worse than that a once in a lifetime, event and not something that any government nor any party could have anticipated? Yes the Tories have wheeled out the magic money tree now and it will no doubt cost us dearly in the future in higher taxes and greater debt. But that's a million miles apart from lashing out cash in normal times on nothing short of bribes to the electorate to try to get him and his tin post Marxists into power?

Truly I despair.

Sorry.

Rant over.

And breathe...……..

I am beginning to wonder if I was wrong in voting for Boris. Listening to Emily Thornberry (alias Lady Nugee) and other members of the Labour party they seem to have all the answers to the coronavirus situation. They know exactly how it should be handled, how much PAYE and the self employed should be paid and when. In fact there is nothing they couldn't handle. Pity is that bunch of hypocrites would probably bankrupt the country in the process.

Don’t worry. This virus has bankrupted the country far worse than any politician ever could.

Probably true QB, so we will now never know if Brexit was a good or bad idea.

Without wanting revive the Brexit topic that is, basically, what I sad several times over the last couple of years.

Whether we are in or out of the EU our economy will always be at the mercy of the global economy - although at the time I obviously never envisaged anything like this.
