Brilliant!!barney wrote: 22 May 2020, 10:38Talking of stuff we've been watching since lockdown, we missed so much good TV first time round that, on recommendation from my son, we've downloaded and caught up with programmes we missed due to being too busy.
So, via Sky Box Sets, we have watched
All three series of The Borgias - brilliant
All five series of Boardwalk Empire - brilliant
We are up to series three of The Sopranos - also brilliant.
Warning :- all of the above have a high level of sex and violence

No. Is it on catch up?Manoverboard wrote: 22 May 2020, 10:30Have you watched the two episodes ( Rock 'n' Chips ? ) of when Delboy was just that ... a yoof called Del ?Stephen wrote: 21 May 2020, 15:59Funny you should mention that Merv as I've just about finished watching all episodes and one film (The Jolly Boys Outing) of Only Fools And Horses. Still got the Miami film to watch. Seen them several times but still one of the best classic comedies.
I've also been watching the making of the program on the Yesterday channel which has been interesting viewing. Another episode tonight @ 8pm

My next and perhaps most controversial policy will be to mean test the state pension....l haven't worked out the cut off point cos my abucus is under repair but considering the economic situation l'm afraid l have no alternative.....just off my head l'm thinking of a reduced state pension for everyone with a private pension of 40k pa and upwards......And while you are contemplating the impact on your lives please take into account that child bennifit is going to be means tested as well.

State Pensions are already reduced as a consequence of having a private pension, do try to keep up old chapOnelife wrote: 23 May 2020, 22:32My next and perhaps most controversial policy will be to mean test the state pension....l haven't worked out the cut off point cos my abucus is under repair but considering the economic situation l'm afraid l have no alternative.....just off my head l'm thinking of a reduced state pension for everyone with a private pension of 40k pa and upwards......And while you are contemplating the impact on your lives please take into account that child bennifit is going to be means tested as well.
